What is Liraglutide ?
Liraglutide is a clear, colorless solution. The dosage form is subcutaneous injection. After more than 10 years of research and development, liraglutide has many effects such as promoting pancreatic islet cell regeneration, lowering blood sugar, weight loss and protecting the cardiovascular system. Liraglutide is an acylated human glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist, which has 97% amino acid sequence homology with human endogenous GChemicalbook LP-1 (7-37), retains all the biological activity of GLP-1, and has GLP-1 receptor agonism. By expressing the recombinant DNA in Saccharomyces cerevisiae, the molecular structure differs from the natural GLP-1 molecule by only one amino acid, and the structure only modifies GLP-1 in the following two parts: lysine at position 34 is replaced by arginine, and a glutamic acid-mediated 16-carbon palmitoyl fatty acid side chain is added to position 26 lysine.
Benefits of Retatrutide:
Liraglutide has the following pharmacological effects:
Protective effect on pancreatic islet β cells
Effect of reducing body weight
Cardiovascular effects of liraglutide
Protective effect on the liver
Therapeutic effect on Alzheimer's disease (AD).
